Since this is the Friday before Halloween, we decided to talk about the usual Night of the Dead cast of characters. Tom feels like vampires are the quintessential spooktacular creature and that zombies are slow and dumb. It’s up for debate. Call us and tell us what you think. 406-282-0869. Musical biopics are the target of critique later in the show. From the one’s that are already made to the one’s that maybe could (and possibly shouldn’t) be made, we talk about them all. We wrap the show with some local events, things to do with the whole family and just for the adults.
Our guest, Ken Napzok, is an old radio buddy of Tom’s. They get a little nerdy talking about radio and this here interweb’s imaginary radio. They also talk about how Ken is pretty much responsible for Kristin Wiig’s success on SNL. Comedy is tough and sometimes making comedy requires making drinks. A weird series of events leaves Tom all alone in the studio today. You can be the judge of how well or, rather, not well that situation went. Finally after emails and missed calls we were able to figure out just where Aaron is. Too bad Dawn could not be reached to tell her the search party can come back home. She sadly missed the debut of our new segment, “Come, on! Meagan Fox.”
Featured Music:
Bird’s Mile Home – In E
Matt & Kim – Yea Yeah
We start the show off with some corrections and updates from the last episode. Then it’s on to the Main Event. Tom and Dawn face off: Megan Fox vs U2. Last Saturday’s season opener of Saturday Night Live featured them both. Randy left us a voicemail which we listen to then immediately call him back. We’re going to buy him a shot and call him back some other day. Zombies are a reflection of our own fears. So is losing your favorite nerdy kid-celebrity to fame, fortune and old age. Music is happening in our (and maybe your) area. We tell you all about it. Including the upcoming all ages show at Shorty’s in Kalispell.
Featured Music:
Dragonette – I Get Around
brakesbrakesbrakes – Don’t Take Me To Space (Man)
Due to an increasing amount of requests to do another show, Tom has done another show. (This is probably not what people were hoping for, but it’s all we can do.) Montana favorites, Tonight We Ride, Bird’s Mile Home and Goddamnitboyhowdy are all played, as is the number one song of the Summertime by Girls. […]
I was feeling like I needed to be productive today. This was literally the least I could do. Frightened By Rabbits were covered in ash and were not able to make it to Coachella. The iPad is too powerful for Israel. Seriously. Infected Mushroom seemed an appropriate band to play to honor this. As did […]
This is the show that could have been "hella" cool, but instead settled for "yotta" cool. It's time to buy your music festival tickets. Will you choose one that is near or far this year? Coachella, Sasquatch, or maybe Bonnaroo? Sorry, but no roller derby girls were interviewed in the making of this episode. They are busy ladies. You […]
TV shows are always taking time off, so why shouldn't we? The Flying Penguins made Montana state history by plunging into Whitefish Lake. We hear about that. Shel Silverstein is more than just a children's author, something you learn as an adult. […]
We start the show off with some local music, Train Song. Then it's on to the unavoidable late night TV "situation". We're with CoCo. The greatest band Dawn never knew she loved was then played. Plenty of people will be jumping into ice cold water February 6th for a good cause. Plus we discuss what we call, "leading a healthy lifestyl […]
