Here it is, an amazing version of Tonight We Ride’s ‘Other Side of the Wall’ song as recorded at the September 12th after-party. Just Dub, Greg and an acoustic guitar.
1> chicken hawk = I hate this do you like it?
2> wolfmother = new moon rising
3> filthydukes feat.wiley = tupac robot club rock
4> Karen O & the kids = all is love
5> I H Y W Y P (i hate you when you’re pregnant) = Hey Kanye
We start the podcast with a show review of our Third Place Media kick-off event. Plus all the steamy details of the after party. Yes, there was leg wrestling. The Brothers of Sasquatch gave us permission to play their stuff, so we played Mission Control. Fall TV is starting soon. We care a little about that. One of us watched the VMAs. Bet you can’t guess who… Lady Gaga’s endless wardrobe is discussed. Seems appropriate to play The Fresh & Onlys song Endless Love. The internet is killing things… maybe even us! No, wait. That was just Megan Fox. Then it’s on to the bi-weekly Top 5 artists you should be checking out. Sssssay What? you heard right, we played the Sex Slaves.
Dawn went to Marilyn Manson and gave us a full report. Speaking of people named Marilyn, did you know it’s possible to be buried on top of Marilyn Monroe? Tonight We Ride, The Graveyard Girl Scouts, Brothers of Sasquatch and Out The Lights are playing a show for us at Grizzly Jack’s Saturday September 12th. You’re invited and encouraged to come. We spend a little time talking about this “auto tune” technology and how it’s wrecking music. Somehow Ozzy playing World of Warcraft is brought up which naturally leads to us playing Japanther.
Featured Music:
Out The Lights – King of Spangledesh
Japanther – See Evil
Due to an increasing amount of requests to do another show, Tom has done another show. (This is probably not what people were hoping for, but it’s all we can do.) Montana favorites, Tonight We Ride, Bird’s Mile Home and Goddamnitboyhowdy are all played, as is the number one song of the Summertime by Girls. […]
I was feeling like I needed to be productive today. This was literally the least I could do. Frightened By Rabbits were covered in ash and were not able to make it to Coachella. The iPad is too powerful for Israel. Seriously. Infected Mushroom seemed an appropriate band to play to honor this. As did […]
This is the show that could have been "hella" cool, but instead settled for "yotta" cool. It's time to buy your music festival tickets. Will you choose one that is near or far this year? Coachella, Sasquatch, or maybe Bonnaroo? Sorry, but no roller derby girls were interviewed in the making of this episode. They are busy ladies. You […]
TV shows are always taking time off, so why shouldn't we? The Flying Penguins made Montana state history by plunging into Whitefish Lake. We hear about that. Shel Silverstein is more than just a children's author, something you learn as an adult. […]
We start the show off with some local music, Train Song. Then it's on to the unavoidable late night TV "situation". We're with CoCo. The greatest band Dawn never knew she loved was then played. Plenty of people will be jumping into ice cold water February 6th for a good cause. Plus we discuss what we call, "leading a healthy lifestyl […]
